COVID-19 Learning Forum

KPQC collected survey responses about perinatal COVID-19 response in Kansas. We heard from about 30 respondents on topics covering prenatal care, delivery, postpartum care, testing, and pediatric care. In response to the needs communicated in the survey, we scheduled two Learning Forums:

May 11 with Devika Maulik, M.D. Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and Chairperson Elect of the KPQC, covering prenatal and postpartum surveillance strategies, testing, and visitation.

June 23 with Dr. Kourtney Bettinger, M.D. Pediatrics and Jodi Jackson, M.D. Neonatology, Chairperson and Past-Chairperson of the KPQC, covering neonatal care during hospitalization and discharge needs related to the infant of a COVID positive mother as well as healthcare access for the COVID positive pediatric patient.
